#PAN1 Bike Amenity An open letter to the City of Merri-bek.
Subject: Bike Amenity
In solidarity with the Aboriginal community and Merri-bek’s recent renaming, this Open Letter shall address the issue of painted bike lanes in Brunswick.
An alternate way of supporting bike lanes is proposed. It argues that providing bike and pedestrian amenity at the block level can create a sustainable ecosystem of bike infrastructure.

#PAN2 Qualitative Melbourne Train Network Map
Produced as part of the newsletter’s Map Week series.
The Public Architecture Newsletter is of the position that Melbourne’s current set of Train Network maps, albeit excellent indicators of transit routes, do not indicate available amenities.
Amenities are those that squarely affect a station’s user interface. They fall both within and outside the purview of the Dept. of Transport.
Data was collected both remotely & by physical station visits.
